Description of the project:
AGHA Uganda with support from Results for Development under the Transparency and accountability program (TAP) is undertaking an assessment of maternal health services offered to women in health centres of level III. The assessment seeks the perceptions from the users to increase their voices to demand for accountability from the service providers. It also empowers the beneficiaries and providers to play their roles more efficiently to improve quality of health care services and it also generates an agenda for advocacy at different levels of government to ultimately improve health care services for the vulnerable populations.
This is a caption of some of the activities AGHA has implemented under TAP following the generic processes of the community score card such as; input tracking matrix, community assessment meetings, and self assessment by health workers and interface meetings. AGHA also reviewed the previous action plans in the fore mentioned facilities and guided the development of the new action plans.
